Explore our range of automated prop solutions through these demonstration videos. Each showcases different aspects of our technology and its practical applications in film and television production.
In this video you will see a brief demonstration of a gauge prop which has been automated by us. Once connected to our central server 'SetWideNet', we are able to send a variety of customisable commands to the prop. In this case we will demonstrate changing the brightness and glitch of the backlight, as well as how we are able to send the needle to a chosen location on the gauge face. Further custom options include a 'dampening' effect which dictates the speed at which the needle will arrive at the instructed location. Please contact us if you would like to arrange a demo.
Here you will see how we have created an item of 'grip' equipment which can be used to automate practical lighting on set. Anything that is plugged into our socket can be controlled remotely, allowing the user to switch individual lights on/off or the group as a whole. To allow for even greater control, as long as dimmable bulbs are in use, then our solution will enable you to control the level of brightness with the utmost precision.
Clocks are a story telling staple, so one of our first automations was with our clock module. Here you can see how we can control the location of the clock hands as well as their speed and direction. Larger clocks are just as easily automated, but will require a larger motor to accommodate the size and weight of the hands.
LEDs can be automated using our adaptable module to enable you to remotely switch them ON/OFF, change their brightness, colour and glitch, as well as other additional patterns. LEDs can be controlled as a standalone prop or integrated into a prop with other automated elements.
